Aim of the Course

The course will provide comprehensive training in all office skills and the confidence necessary to work in the financial services industry.



Sample Course Content

Participants will study a combination of modules for example:

  • information and administration
  • mathematics
  • applied economics
  • accounting
  • customer service
  • word processing
  • work experience
  • Research and study skills

Work Experience

Students are placed in various offices for two weeks to gain office experience and to establish contact with prospective employers.


One year full-time course from September to May.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess the Leaving Certificate/Leaving Cert. Applied or equivalent. If you are over twenty-one, you can apply to enrol as a mature student on the basis of your age and experience. The learner must be Garda vetted to avail of college facilities.

Progression / Further Education
